A Road Well Travelled

Between the towns of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, lies “Strada del Prosecco” or Prosecco Road. Just an hour north of Venice, and running for 20 miles, are the finest vineyards where the highest quality Prosecco is produced. Around every corner of this winding road you will encounter spectacular landscapes, with many steeply sloped, small terraced vineyards.  Here family – run wineries have been producing the famous Italian bubbly “La Strada del Prosecco” in the traditional method for over 200 years. Prosecco is a light-bodied, crisp wine that is highly aromatic with dominant flavors of apple, peach, melon, and honeysuckle. Prosecco defines the Italian philosophy of “the good life” or la dolce vita as no other vintage can.
